Professional Certificate in Coaching for Managers

Are you still leading or already coaching?

A recent survey by the HR magazine ManagerSeminare (MS228) shows that having coaching skills is indispensable for managers because:

  • Today, leadership primarily means supporting staff in learning and change processes (62% of respondents)
  • Staff are the most effective and motivated when they find their own way (42%)
  • It ist he best approach of developing and retaining staff (36%).

When adding coaching skills to their leadership toolboxes, leaders often can only choose between two extremes: the short two-day training course on ‘the leader as coach’ and the extensive ‘one-year programme to become a professional coach’. What is missing is a programme that develops the capacity to self-reflect and focuses on the application in the professional environment of the leader.

This gap is closed by Henley Business School Germany with the Professional Certificate in Coaching: within seven days, spread over three workshops, the participants get to know themselves better, learn the foundations of coaching and practice them in the programme and their professional environment.

What a participant says

In my role I collaborate (internationally) with a variety of colleagues, staff members and clients. My success consists in jointly developing and implementing solutions. In participating in Henley’s coaching programme, I have shaped and sharpened my capacity of collaborating.

Since I now have a much better understanding of my partner’s needs, thoughts and feelings, I can actively shape my reaction to them. Furthermore, I know how to create environments in which my clients and colleagues exchange openly and independently. On this foundation, sustainable solutions emerge, which are also implemented. For this approach to teamwork, I am recognized in my organization. Also because it is different from anything that we tried before.
